FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you may want to know before we begin

What happens during a home organising session?

We start by talking about what you’d like to achieve and how you want your home to feel. Then we work through your belongings together, using KonMari principles to help you decide what to keep, let go of and organise.

We work together. You make the decisions about your belongings, while I provide guidance, structure, practical help and encouragement throughout the process.

No. Some clients want to complete a full KonMari journey, while others only need help with one category or focused project. We’ll choose the approach that suits you best.

It depends on your home, the amount of belongings, your pace of decision-making and how much you want to complete between sessions. We’ll discuss the most suitable package during your free consultation.

No. You don’t need to prepare or declutter beforehand. If you want to do some work between sessions, I can suggest manageable tasks, but there is no pressure.

For decluttering and KonMari sessions, you usually need to be involved because only you can decide what stays and what goes. Once decisions are made, some organising tasks may be completed more independently.

There is no pressure to get rid of anything. The focus is on understanding what you want to keep and what supports the life you want to create.

No. My approach is friendly, practical and completely judgement-free.

Yes. Longer packages can be divided into separate sessions where appropriate. For example, the 8-hour Signature Home Organisation package can be completed in one full day or split over two shorter sessions.

Storage products are not included in the session price. I prefer to use what you already have wherever possible. If baskets, dividers or other products would genuinely help, I’ll discuss them with you before anything is purchased.

I can help you separate items for donation, selling, recycling or disposal and suggest suitable options. Collection or transport of unwanted items is not normally included unless agreed separately.

Yes. We can work on toys, children’s belongings and shared family spaces. We’ll agree an approach that works for your family and decide how much you would like your children to be involved.

Yes, depending on the project. These spaces can contain a large volume of belongings, so a longer session may be more suitable. We can discuss the best approach during your free consultation.

Yes. For larger projects, particularly packing and unpacking, an additional organiser can be arranged for £40 per hour. Any additional support and cost will always be agreed with you in advance.

Yes. Pre-move decluttering is a great opportunity to use KonMari principles and decide what you genuinely want to take into your new home.

Yes. I can help with organised packing of everyday belongings and unpacking and setting up wardrobes, kitchens, bathrooms and other everyday areas in your new home.

Moving boxes, a van and removal staff are not included in our service. Our support focuses on decluttering, organised packing, unpacking and helping you set up your new home. We can also work alongside your chosen removals team to help the moving process feel more organised and manageable..

No. Specialist fragile-item packing, heavy lifting, furniture moving, transportation and removals work are not included.

Usually, packing and unpacking projects work best with a team of at least two organisers. Depending on the size of the home, number of boxes and how quickly you’d like the work completed, we may recommend two or more organisers. Additional organisers are £40 per hour each, and we’ll always agree the team size and cost with you in advance.
